Towards a cycling-friendly world and sustainable mobility
Vapaus is a FinTech-company that provides other businesses and their employees with bicycles (benefit bikes and shared fleets) as a service. We are owned by executive leadership, employees, and investors. Our home and main market is Finland, but we are currently expanding to Sweden, and looking into other European countries.
Our company was founded to improve the wellbeing of people and the environment we live in. One of our main goals is to increase cycling, especially among those just getting started: we’re aiming for 1 million new cyclists.
We take full responsibility of the emissions of our business, even those that we are not yet able to fully avoid. To keep our climate impact to a minimum, we support both carbon sequestration projects and organizations working towards decreasing emissions from mobility.
